When you are short on counter space in your kitchen or have always wanted that kitchen island, but the layout isn't conducive to a permanent one, then a mobile island is a perfect opportunity. This one we made with independent floating shelves to store items of various sizes. We opted to go with a butcher block top to be more versatile; whether you want to cut on it or use is a charcuterie board, it will serve many purposes. Osborne Wood Products' legs gave us a great starting point and made this so easy to replicate.
