QUESTIONS
Chris Cagen - So my question is how would you suggest finishing wood for outdoor projects? Last year I made a flag out of pine. I stained it in dark walnut stain, then dry brushed colored craft paint to create a distressed look. Then sealed it using minwax helmsman outdoor spar urethane. After only 1 year the red is a more faded orange. Any suggestions on how to prevent that for future outdoor projects? Would rather not loose color after a year.
Then my topic suggestion, is what about doing some type of build challenge. I've heard about previous ones like no lathe pen or the 2x4 challenge. So maybe some type of Woodshop 101 group build?
