What do you recommend to cleaning your furniture pieces with?

• The only thing I recommend cleaning my furniture pieces with is a non-toxic cleaner. More specifically I recommend General Finishes Orange Oil.

What do you recommend applying to my cutting board for re-finish?

• You can use any food grade mineral oil or "butcher block" oil. You can pick up mineral oil in most drug stores or grocery stores in the laxative department or you can spend a few dollars more and get butcher block oil. Butcher block oil is just a fancy mineral oil. If you want to go with an oil then stick with the cheap mineral oil from any store. But I recommend an oil wax mixture. I use Howard Butcher Block Conditioner.
